Macedonianization

Now I should like to throw some light on the beginnings of the present Yugoslavian policy of Macedonianization that is in full swing in Macedonia today.

However, unable to advance openly with its true goals, it reformed its plan; firstly, to force Macedonianization upon the people, and with that to drive out the Bulgarian propaganda, and later on to switch the Macedoniansm into Serbianism.

In the brief period when this plan was implemented at Pirin Macedonia, communist cadres carried out an extensive Macedonianization campaign (see Nikolov, 2000, and Matzureff, 1978: 170-82 for details).
