X'mas

S. JONES gratefully acknowleges the public patronage accorded him during the last four years, and respectfully invites an inspection of his Christmas Confectionery, in rich variety, comprising a new selection of X’mas Tree Ornaments, Sachets and Boxes laden with sweets, and variously flavoured Chocolate for X’mas presents, and New Year’s gifts, automatic figures, Father X’mas, Red Ridinghood, Birds, Flags, Banners, &c., &c.

All the wives, mothers and sisters in Knoxville will be in a perfect state of “unsettledness” during the coming week in deciding what to give to their boys, husbands, brothers and fathers for X’mas.

J. W. Houston, wife and Miss Grace,^([sic]) spent X’mas with Mrs. Houston’s father at Belgrade.

X’MAS DECORATIONS SOON / Plans are going steadily forward and the Christmas decorations will be placed on Main Street soon, according to word from the committee in charge.

I've tried to contact Tim BL about this and in fact got mail from him before (I assume) he went on X'mas vacation.
