Etymology
Borrowed from New Latin erōtēmaticus, from Koine Greek ἐρωτηματικός (erōtēmatikós, “interrogative; relating to questions”), from ἐρώτημα (erṓtēma, “question”) + -ικός (-ikós). Equivalent to obsolete erotema (“question”) + -tic.
