Definitions
Proper Noun
- 1 An esoteric Rodnover (Slavic Neopagan) sect from Russia.
Etymology
Borrowed from Russian инглиизм (ingliizm). May be reanalyzed as Yngling (“a Scandinavian royal dynasty”) + -ism, in analogy with the Russian word. In Ynglist belief, the name refers to a fiery primordial radiance known as the "Ynglia" emanated by the supreme god Ramkha.
