Azerbaidzhan

The 1971 legislation added a new form of income, profits from enterprises of Republic subordination. In 1975, 538.4 million roubles from such enterprises were transferred to city budgets. This comprised 2.6 per cent of the regulated income of cities in the USSR, while for city budgets in the Ukraine and Azerbaidzhan it reached 9.8 per cent and 13.6 per cent respectively.
