Yangtszepoo District Station.—An excellent site was obtained near the junction of Yangtszepoo and Lay Roads for this Station, and I hope that the building will be commenced and completed this year, as the number of fires in the Yangtszepoo distinct continues to prove that the Brigade cannot afford the necessary fire protection in this district from such a distance as the nearest Station, i.e. Hongkew.
