Angpao

To celebrate the Chinese New Year (Imlek), Sheraton Media Hotel & Towers made the biggest angpao (a gift envelope) measuring 14.7 metres by 4.7 metres which is believed to be a record size.

In return, they give us red envelopes called angpao with crisp peso bills in them.

Traditionally, Chinese families will visit the temple before gathering in families for a hearty meal and exchange of angpao or lucky money.
