Anthroponymous

Anthroponymous fishing grounds were named by Norfolk Islanders after Norfolk Islanders.

Theses spaces happened to be anthroponymous, given that the military groups and their families adopted as surnames the space that they occupied within the interior of the village.

It is not clear on what basis the names were chosen, but a systematic anthroponymous linkage across generations and between affines seemed likely.
