Antidemocratic

Some people who hate minorities of all sorts claim that no gay people live in their country. Some antidemocratic or outright fascistic governments later attempt to make that absurd assertion a reality by the criminal prosecution of homosexual people or even their execution.

The aesthetics at play were a bit antidemocratic, accelerationist, what have you; and mainstream coverage of the trend from this past spring cited propaganda experts on its allegedly alarming implications.
