Atlantooccipital

Briefly, the rats were chronically implanted with catheters; they were anesthetized with ketamine and xylazine (75 mg/kg, 12 mg/kg, resp.), were placed in a stereotaxic frame, and underwent surgical procedures that exposed the atlantooccipital membrane by means of an incision in the neck.
