Be-helmeted

I’VE had a mixed motoring week which will at once endear me to the growing legions of Greenies — and bring their wrath down on my be-helmeted head.

A tourist who had somehow wandered into the Civic Center from the Tenderloin saw the be-helmeted, truncheon-toting SWAT squad posted in front of the museum and said, “This is a city that protects its culture.”
