I am very proud of being Jewish. I actually lived in Israel for some months. But what I happen to believe is that, right now, sadly, tragically, in Israel, through Bibi Netanyahu, you have a reactionary racist who is now running that country.

The bibis of European men were treated in the same way as upper-class Muslim women, that is, they were kept hidden from view and did not mingle socially with men.

This time, though, I think Bibi drove one wedge too many into the heart of Israel’s body politic.
