What I said was that there are 40 channels per Megahertz, which works out to a channel spacing of 25 kHz.. (1E6 ÷ 40 = 25E3) Dave, a pretty fair electroniker in his own right (amateur extra and all) has blushedly apologized to me and to everybody who wrote in. My blushings to you on his behalf.
