From 2025, British Sign Language (BSL) will be taught as a GCSE subject.

British Sign Language (BSL) is recognised by law as an official language of Great Britain.

The BSL is a ‘Source Available’ license that freely allows using the code for development and other non-production work such as testing. Production use of the software requires a commercial license from Lightbend.

The scientists then carried out their experiments at the same level of security as their other work with the coronaviruses, known as Biosafety Level 3, or BSL-3.
