Button-basher

It’s just a button-basher, with no skill or tactics whatsoever! Stand in front of a baddie, keep hitting the fire button until he dies, find the next baddie, stand in front of him, etc, etc.

Well, there aren’t actually any tactics, as Legends of Wrestling is a bit of a button-basher.

Not all the 14 events are senseless button-bashers, either. Hammer throw and discus are about rhythm and timing, and the running target rifle event is a fine test of reaction and accuracy.

You press a button, something amazing will happen. […] So yes, bashing the buttons does turn you into a fighting games god with minimum effort. Obviously labelling this as a button-basher will enrage fighting game experts, who are spitting their coffee over Play in sheer rage that we haven’t pointed out that MVC 3 also rewards dedication.
