Certworthiness

On August 7, 2023 — 17 days after Ms. Vitagliano filed her petition for certiorari—the County of Westchester repealed the eight-foot floating-bubble zone in section 425.31(i), apparently in an attempt to moot the case or create a vehicle problem that would counsel against certiorari.... But none of the County’s post-filing maneuvering affects the certworthiness of the petition or the jurisdiction of this Court to review the constitutionality of section 425.31(i).
