Childline

A childline service has been initiated by the ministry under the integrated programme for street children.

At the time of the Gujarat earthquake, the Childline India Foundation (CIF) had been established with childlines in several cities and district towns of India.

The Committee, Special Juvenile Police Units, public servants, childlines, voluntary organizations, social workers and the children themselves may refer a child to such shelter homes.
