Cislesbian

Because my identity is female, I present myself online as female. As such I'm able to meet a lot of cislesbians, in places like Second Life, dating websites or in chat rooms.

In the series, a cislesbian befriends a trans* heterosexual woman but derisively rejects a translesbian who sexually propositions her.

Lisa, a 46-year-old mixed-race cislesbian, discussed how her organization operates quite differently, in that she is required to work with queer and trans newcomers who have decided to settle in Canada.
