Cloudwashed

The peaks are beautiful alpine, snow-capped, cloudwashed things, but often the skier stays in the foothills and the passes, more convenient though less spectacular.

Outside there was the soft patter of summer rain and the sky was pale with the rising, cloudwashed sun.

Back in the present, I'm safe for awhile^([sic]) in my puttering house care, my junk pile, and trips to the cloudwashed countryside.
