Coffolate

Glazed carrots were prepared and used as a garnish for the planked fish dinner, and an iced coffolate was made for the dessert.

But sometimes we’d rather take more time and make a more elaborate hot drink, one such as coffolate, which “hits the spot” as almost every man, woman or child who drinks it will at once remark. Coffolate usually is made with coffee and chocolate, as the name suggests, but this particular recipe uses coffee and cocoa.

If you can’t be warmed from the outside in by a semi-tropical sun, it is pretty great to be warmed from the inside out by something as delicious as hot spiced wine with brandy, or hot coffolate with brandy, is it not?
