Coprographia

Symptoms such as mental coprolalia (the thinking of obscenities), coprographia (the writing of obscenities) and mental palilalia are usually unrecognized unless specifically asked about.

Trimble (199 ) has noted tatooing in some individuals with Tourette's disorder and also coprographia.

Examination of the 374 letters written by Wolfgang Mozart shows scatological writing (coprographia) in 39, or 10.5%, which mention shit (29 times), arse and arse hole (27), muck (17), fart (6), piddling or pissing (6), but without the words being placed illogically, if not inappropriately.

Some speculate that Mozart the musician had coprographia.
