Relative to the Simulium subgeneric standard [24 ], fixed inversions IL-1, IL-2, IL-6, and IL-7, autosomal inversion IL-5 (shown here as fixed [underlined] in cytoform ‘A’, but polymorphic or absent in other cytoforms), and heteroband 31hb (heterozygous) are present.
