Disobstruction

Improvement works on the river Branco shall commence with the disobstruction and straightening of the channel of Cajubirim, sufficient to ensure easy navigation next winter season with the township of Boa Vista.

However, only nine patients in the control group did not disobstruct spontaneously and these were compared to 52 patients in whom disobstruction was spontaneous or therapeutically achieved.

The patient was successfully treated with the placement of a metallic tracheal stent following a Nd-Yag laser-assisted disobstruction of central airways.
