Eye-poppingly

The coat she wanted was eye-poppingly expensive.

Plenty of verbal punches are thrown in “Fetch Clay, Make Man,” a drama by Will Power that opened on Thursday at New York Theater Workshop in an eye-poppingly sleek production directed by Des McAnuff.

The exhibition’s story-loaded hand-made works include the handpainted pod collection by Brett, a Brisbane-based artist, curator, writer and proud Wakka Wakka, Butchulla and Gurang Guran woman. This group is eyepoppingly vivid, utterly gorgeous, and rife with the designer’s political touchpoints and flashes of personal heartbreak.
