Fibro-adenia

In disease of the spleen, especially Banti's disease or fibro-adenia of the spleen, the increase of leukocytes is absent or slight, with no relative lymphocytosis.

The more advanced the disease, the larger the number of follicles affected by fibro-adenia, but it is rare to find.

For the conception that there is a special form of cirrhosis secondary to splenic fibro-adenia, Banti is largely responsible.
