They weren't talking about a gamebot like Magdeil, who might be programmed to seek vengeance. This was the game's manager. Why would a MUD god attack someone?

Current anti-hack solutions are able to distinguish software-based keyboard events and mouse events in order to detect a gamebot for automatic item harvesting.
