Gorton

What is probably the only school of its kind in existence in the British Isles is to be found at Gorton in the heart of Rannoch Moor among some of the wildest scenery in the West Highlands. [...] Consequently, the Education Authority of Argyllshire, in which Gorton is situated, approached the railway company for permission to erect a temporary school on the platform at Gorton, and asked whether it would be possible for the company to provide a carriage body for this purpose.
