The long-awaited “Hamilton” mixtape was released Friday, much to the delight of devoted Hamilfans, as the musical's most avid followers are called.

“Hamilfans,” as they were called, lined the sidewalks of 46th Street, hoping to get tickets for the mega hit.

The popularity of the Broadway musical hit “Hamilton: An American Musical” displayed itself at a local event aimed at bringing together “Hamilfans” of all ages.
