Hemibrain

One hemibrain was snap frozen in liquid nitrogen and stored at -80°C before further Western blot, while the other hemibrain was fixed in paraformaldehyde (4% for 24 h and 2% for additional 2–14 days) at 4°C followed by dehydration and embedding in paraffin.
