Homonymous

In Russian, the words for "caress, endearment" and "least weasel" are homonymous and possibly related etymologically.

Some hippie writers invented the idea of a drug called "adrenochrome" which does not actually exist, but is homonymous with a non-psychoactive pigment.

The morpheme "homo" in "homosexual" and that in "Homo sapiens" are homonymous, terms that sound the same, but mean something different, the first meaning "same," whilst the latter meaning "human."
