Previously, both hyper- and hypoconnectivity in fronto-temporal functional connectivity have been reported [6, 24, 27, 44, 45 ], and our results demonstrate the distinctive fronto-temporal connectivity patterns in different subregions of the STG and are thus consistent with previous findings.
