Ichthyohaemotoxin

Ichthyotoxin includes fishes, which produce a toxin that is generally confined in the gonads and ichthyohaemotoxin indicates fishes that have toxins within their blood.

For some fish, the toxins are present in the blood; these are ichthyohaemotoxin.

Ichthyohaemotoxin is the toxin found in eel serum; it is also known as fish serum toxin.
