Intralaboratory

Multicenter proficiency studies conducted in 2009 and 2010 demonstrated improvements in both inter- and intralaboratory reproducibility of genotyping results also highlighting specific issues including lack of standardization and poorer performance associated with the PCR fragments separation using manual electrophoresis.
