Isomass

If a packet of isomass ions is accelerated through the same potential difference, the ions will achieve an equal velocity and arrive at the detector with a time spread corresponding to their initial spatial distribution in the direction of the flight tube.

In Fig. 4 the isomass lines of equal mₑₑ in the oscillation parameter space are shown, together with various bounds from existing and future reactor and accelerator oscillation experiments.
