Jaggered

For shafting or long journals of any kind I intend to make the cage with a central rim supported by 'the thimble, and the rollers placed jaggered on each side of said rim.

The jaggered edges of the individual fragments aid materially inproviding the compactness with which the fragments are finally imbedded in the matrix.

Smeulders et al. substantiate their claim by considering a two-dimensional periodic canal limited by jaggered walls as depicted in Fig. 1(left).
