Older members of the LGBTIQA community are arguably even more invisible, particularly fearing discrimination in aged care.¹³² Members of the LGBTIQA community are more likely to live alone, less likely to be partnered or to have children, and have increased rates of isolation and loneliness, all of which can contribute to the risk of elder abuse.¹³³
