Ludomusicological

To demonstrate the scope of ludomusicological inquiry, I will first consider what musical performance and digital gameplay have in common as alternatives, supplements, or antonyms for "work."

From a ludomusicological perspective, all these forms of play forge connections that enable us to historicize the new and renovate the old via techniques of projection and retrojection.
