Luyang District Court in Hefei encountered the embarrassing situation that the defendants, the children of the plaintiff, refused to execute the judgment which ordered the defendants to visit the elderly on regular basis.

In terms of budget, the students pay around 400-500 RMB (roughly equals to 70-80 US$) every semester, while the nine teaching staff receive a nominal salary of 600-700 RMB per month (as a reference, the minimum salary of Hefei city was 720 RMB per month as of 2010, which was raised to 1010 RMB in May 2011) for their part time teaching job. The school, however, is not recognised by the educational authority of Luyang district, Hefei municipality.
