We've got Edie, I think she's gone slightly mad, may be off the boil a bit. Chances of that one... two percent. Dr. Ku, ill give that a zero percent chance. Then we've got Steve with his ejaculation megatron. Yeah, I'll give him forty percent chance.

The attention span of the #Megatrons, as Trainor has christened her fans, presumably falls somewhere between the six-second length of a Vine and the 15-second limit on an Instagram video.

But when L.A. Reid, CEO of Epic Records, heard “That Bass,” he fell in love with Meghan’s empowering, in-your-face lyrics—as did all her fans (hey, Megatronz!), who have clicked on her YouTube video roughly 500 million times.

It was “Title” – which Trainor later deemed “the best song of the night” – that had the singer seemingly marvelling at her “Megatronz,” who sang the whole way through.

From then on, it’s wall-to -all hits as she leads a full backing band and troupe of dancers, and has her ‘Megatrons’ – her largely pre-teen fanbase – in the palm of her hand.

Lots of Megatronz may have missed this relationship, or fling if you want to call it, because it was so quick.

It’s extremely clear that Trainor respects and loves her Megatrons as much as they do her.
