Metropoli

Although there has been some filling out of the urban hierarchy in the last 30 years and some diminution in the dominance of Metro Manila, the latter has 10 million inhabitants, which along with the 1.8 million residing in Metro Cebu and 1.7 million in Metro Davao, means that the country’s three metropoli contain one-quarter of the urban population between them.
