Microepidemiology

At present, the factors underlying the microepidemiology of malaria are not fully understood, but include variation in distance to the nearest mosquito breeding site, water body or vegetation, household structural features [21, 22 ], and both human behavioural and genetic factors [22 ], that may also result in differential attractiveness to mosquitoes.
