Microsequenced

For N-terminal sequence analysis, the purified Rhi o 1 was transferred from gel to PVDF membrane using 10 mM CAPS buffer (pH 11) containing 10% methanol and then microsequenced in a Procise protein sequencer (Applied Biosystems, Weiterstadt, Germany).
