Now, Pound wrote no Imagistic poems as bad as my missynthesized example, but he quickly discovered that deliberately incongruous superimpositions could be used as a potent satirical tool:

The hypothesis, as presently stated, requires the random appearance of myssynthesized proteins — that is, evidence of molecular missynthesis should not be confined to just a few enzymes, but should be ubiquitous.
