Mompetition

The beauty of witnessing a mompetition on the Internet is that it's one of the rare times people catch a glimpse of just how far off the deep end their friend has gone since having a baby.

I've witnessed the mompetition on the playground and see it every day on my mom Listservs.

Recent research has examined mothers' use of Pinterest and the so-called “mompetition” that can occur on such sites (Griffin, 2014).
