Monoalgal

The diet during the maintenance period consisted of a monoalgal suspension of Rhodomonas lens supplied in a continuous flow to each aquarium by a peristaltic pump (ISMATEC MPC Process) to maintain a concentration of 10,000 cells ml −1 with 99% organic content.
