Narrow-sightedness

The events of universal history are not to be reckoned upon either by the short-sightedness of the Philistine or by the narrow-sightedness of the student.

Those concerned with creating climates for change can ill afford narrow-sightedness.

This narrow-sightedness is a real problem and can cause a team to lose focus because of perhaps fixed or ignorant views on a particular subject.
