Necklift

The endoscopic forehead lift may be performed separately or in conjunction with a necklift or composite facelift.

Once the patient and surgeon have decided to proceed with a necklift, each tissue type (skin, muscle, fat) involed in aging the neck is considered for its role in a given patient’s appearance and its amenability to surgical correction. Procedures to rejuvenate the neck represent a cumulative advance up the ladder from liposuction (addresses fat) to submentalplasty (addresses muscle and fat), to full necklift (addresses skin, muscle and fat; the necklift incision is completely postauricular, and addresses the jawline and inferior).
