Neopositivism

That the analysis of scientific progress provides us with clues which are interesting from the humanistic point of view is the central idea of many antimetaphysical and antireligious doctrines such as positivism, neopositivism, scientific materialism, and the different versions of scientific naturalism widespread in the contemporary intellectual arena.
