Assume that Jones’ decision to murder Smith is nondeterministically (and nonwaywardly) caused (in accordance with a modest libertarian account of free action) by a cluster of Jones’ reasons; had he not arrived at this decision at the time at which he did, another cluster of his reasons would have nondeterministically (and nondeviantly) caused an alternative decision.
