Nondialup

The method used is to connect the autoanswer modem between the telephone line and a line to the nondialup network.

Here is a more complicated example in which we upload a text file to an IBM mainframe through a direct (nondialup) linemode connection.

However, lock-and-key also works over nondialup links.
